Cracked up, stacked up, 22, psycho for sex and glue
lost it to Bostik, yeah,
Shaved heads, rave heads, on the pill, got too much time to kill
get into bands and gangs... oh
It's on March 19th, two days ago... about 10 PM in JIExpo hall A... Suede rocking the stage, everyone... Thanks to BlackBerry I was able to see them and other artists live... wonderful experience.
I got the giveaway ticket cos my friend, Amel, who also with me at the venue, told me to join the giveaway on live n rocking site. My other friends took that chance to see 2PM, and well... me too... I thought I'll go applying ticket to see 2PM, oh yes, I'm that 2PM fans... just happy go lucky you know, have a free ticket though I'm not a big fan anymore hahaha. Then I found out Suede was the big act of that event, and I thought "wow, there's a rock band performed", since I never watch any real rock band's live, I won't miss the chance, decided I'll be an ultimate poser of Suede, I listened to their Singles album.
I'm not growing up in their heyday and not in the BritPop scene either, so I only remember their two songs; Beautiful Ones and She's in Fashion. Their songs weren't love at first sound if I might say hahaha... but Trash is really a good one, and it turns out that I know "Lazy" and "Positivity". Anyway, on the d-day, I barely know their songs... even it took me minutes to figure out Trash was played...
But you know what, it doesn't matter. Though the long long sound checking and exhausting ad plus MC talks, it's really worthed when they come down to the stage and rock the venue. It's not like looking at their pictures cos it's totally different. You can go like "oh yea, they were those pretty boys playing music" when see pictures but when they actually played, it was heavenly phenomenon. Hahaha... now I'm talking about Mr.Anderson, yes. What should I say? those moves, attitude, hair flips, mic swings, walks, sweats, chest... God, he's so damn sexy...! it's not like anything in pictures or youtube videos.
After watching him awhile on the stage, I came realizing that he reminds me of Bowie... the walks, and the shaking I guess, was so Bowie... I mean, I don't mind, I really like it. And he got this lean, slender feature... it just clicked on me. I'm pretty sure he's a fan of Bowie. But sadly I was standing behind this mad fan, and on my left is this guy with big hair... hahaha so funny, it was a big no no when you're a not-so-tall woman, so my vision to them is quite limited, it's only spanned from the vocalist's mic to the keyboard, I was in lefty-center position. They feel so close though, since I was only a bar behind from the VIPs.
Soo... when I was not looking to sexy Mr.Anderson, I looked at their keyboardist-guitarist Neil Codling. Man, he got attitude too... like that stiff - puppet like attitude... that's so sexy too... hahaha. They really put their great energy on their performance that night, everyone just enjoy and scream, and up their hands to the air... like it. Like it so much, though I can't sing along since I didn't know the lyrics, but I really enjoy the vibe. The vibe of watching real rock band... hahaha amazing. Like what VJ Daniel said, I guess I'm proud for being one of the lucky ones to see Suede live, babyyyy.. whoooo!
About other performers... 2PM was ugh, how should I put it in words? the fans are crazy, I couldn't see a thing because I've been pushed here and there. They're nuts, barbar! yeah, that's the word, shame on you guys, you're barbar fans, thank God they're gone after 2PM. Shontelle and Taio was good, the DJ before Shontelle was amazing.. dancing all the waaaay! really good feelings. BlackBerry and the EO was doing good job, if there were people said bad things about them, I guess they're just being childish, and stupid.
